Manly Monday

I haven't done a Manly Monday for a while, so today's the day for the dudes. I have stocked up on cool things for guys, so they'll be more to come.  Happy Manly Monday!

1. Band of Outsiders Spring Ties
2. An awesome "man bag"
3. This chair is screaming bachelor
4. The best shaving brush - in colors!
5. Isn't this Vestal watch rad?

Ballet Pumps

Oh I should have put these BCBG ballet pumps in my Ballerina Style post! I figure since Natalie Portman won best actress last night for her performance in Black Swan, I can squeeze in one more;)

Top 5 Oscar Looks

Hurray for the Oscars! I was so excited to see that my favorites won.  I think that Natalie Portman's best actress win was much deserved and I actually jumped for joy when the adorable Colin Firth won for best actor.
There was some really fun fashion this year and all such different looks! Here are my top five (cough 6) looks for the evening:

1. Mila Kunis in this amazing lavender Elie Saab gown. Oh that color!! This one was my favorite of the night
2. Sandra Bullock  in a scarlet Very Wang looks absolutely stunning! I wish I could pull off a color like this
3. Pregnant or not, Natalie Portman's plum Rodarte was perfect!
4. Even with Mathew McConaughey on her arm, Camila Alves stole the show in this BEAUTIFUL Kaufman Franco gown
5. Amy Adams is always beautiful, but this L'Wren Scott dress takes it to a whole new level. The color perfectly sets off her eyes and hair.
6. I know some aren't a fan of Michelle Williams Chanel dress, but she just looks so elegant and timeless to me

So that's my list. Also, I couldn't decide if I liked Gwenyth Paltrow's dress or not. She could wear paper bag and still look amazing, but I'm on the fence about the silver number.

Who were your favorites of the night?

Friday Favs: Ballerina Style

It's Friday, it's Friday! Can you tell I'm excited? It's been a heck of a week. Again! It's always had when husband is out of town a lot. We have some possible life changes coming up and I'm exhausted just thinking about it! I've felt like I'm two steps behind everything all week. So this weekend I am sticking around home and trying to get things caught up.

One thing I will be doing this weekend is watching the Oscars! Are you planning to watch? I can't wait to talk about all the glitz and glam on the red carpet!  Who are your favorites? I'm rooting for Colin Firth and Natalie Portman to win for best actors. So this weeks Friday Fav's is all about the ballerina style. We saw it on Black Swan and all over the runways this Spring and it's just oh so lovely. Don't you think?

P.S. I really want that drawing for my bedroom. Also lusting after those shoes and that dress;)

1. Ballet on Pointe Art 2. Ballerina Wrap Cardi 3. Gold Facet Earrings 4. Valentino Bow clutch 5. Ballerina Pendant 6. Mint Pleated Dress 7. Tiffany Ballet Slipper Box 8. Rose Ballet Flats

A Great Escape

I have been feeling so off my game lately and I can't even pinpoint why! I feel like I'm always running to catch up. Do you ever get like that? Maybe I need another vacation and make it a longer one this time please.

I could be blissfully happy spending a week in this amazing seaside cabin in Norway. Isn't the blue and white decor perfect for an ocean retreat? I can just feel that sea breeze on my face. Heaven.

Read the cute story and history about this cabin here (you might need Google translate)

Spring Rings

My ring fetish has been in overdrive lately with all the cute Spring designs coming out. I don't have a flower ring and I REALLY think I need one.  There are so many different looks and I love them all. Which one would you choose?

Vintage Rose Button Ring / Spring's Sentinel Ring / Centerpiece Ring

Adorable Digs

There is some serious cuteness going on at the Storytime Boutique. I have had my eye on that cape for my little bug, but then there's that vest and those little scarves. Adorable! I cannot leave out those totally in style wide-leg pants and that vintage inspired swimsuit. Awwwwe!  They have some really cute Spring/Summer stuff coming out to, so if you have little one's to buy for take a look. You'll die from the cuteness!

P.S. they do have some fun things for adults too!

Yellow Shoes

I've always had a secret crush on cute yellow shoes, then a couple years back I saw this photo (above) and those shoes on The Sartorialist's blog and knew I needed some. Can you believe I still don't have any? However, these Jeffrey Campbell mustard wedges are calling my name. Considering my new found love for yellow I think I MUST indulge.

Do you have something that you've always secretly wanted for yourself?

Crazy about florals

I am over-the-moon about the floral trend right now. Everywhere I look I see the most adorable floral prints and I want! Maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see?  It's just so Springlike and romantic!! Are you as crazy as I am about this?

P.S. Isn't that swimsuit to die for?

Happy Tuesday

Happy Tuesday darlings! How was your long weekend (long for some of you)? My mini vacation was absolutely what I needed. Has life ever been really crazy and one day you realize that you aren't taking very good care of yourself? That was me! Thank goodness for my blog or I would have gone totally insane. As far as gallivanting around San Francisco, it was chilly and pouring down rain, so that didn't happen so much. I still had an awesome time, got some fun stuff, and came home feeling totally refreshed. I didn't even touch a computer!! I have some fun stuff coming up this week (and today), so stay tuned...

Jet setter: San Francisco

San Francisco Gal

It's Friday and THANK HEAVENS for that! I'm sorry about the delay with the posting, I've been running around all morning trying to get things taken care of. It has been a rough week and a half with sick kids and a crazy busy husband. The light at the end of the tunnel is I'm flying to San Francisco tonight to visit the parents. Just me! Tomorrow I'm getting a pedicure (ahhh), then gallivanting around the city. I may even take a few pics! What are you up to this weekend?

In place of my Friday Favs I put together a jet setter look for my weekend. Can you tell I love my cardis?

Alphabet Rings

I am smitten with these alphabet stacking rings. The possibilities are endless! I would get my kiddos initials and maybe a little heart in between.  Or maybe the word "oy"... What would you get if you could choose anything?
