Awesome Ottoman

While I'm talking about things I need, I should include one of these ottomans from Pal + Smith. Aren't they awesome?! I would go for the green one with the black and white checkered cushion. I also LOVE the white with the blue floral pattern.

Something I Need

Okay, it's time for me to get one of Dan Golden's inspirational rugs for my house. It'd be like having your own personal life coach right there as you leave the house each day wouldn't it? Or maybe I just need one of his prescription medication inspired rugs.....

House Envy

Today I have been running around trying to get ready for family to come into town. Since my house is an absolute mess (seriously toys in every nook and cranny), I needed to be inspired by what I would like my house to look like. This house done by interior designer Lindsay Bentis is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I don't think I can pick a favorite room.

Wouldn't this gift wrap inspired dress by Erin Fetherston be a perfect dress to ring in the new year? Now to find the shoes.....

Yuck

So after such a wonderful Christmas day, I spent the better half of yesterday in bed with the stomach flu. It's looking like today might be the same. So I'm going to pull the covers back over my head and hope this passes. Have a great day and I'll see you all tomorrow.
