Colorful Sandals
It's 85 degrees here today and we are headed to the beach soon. I LOVE that it is sandal weather again!! Another favorite way to add a pop of color to my outfit is with shoes. Since color (and a lot of it) seems to be the trend, these colorful sandals are perfect. Don't you think?

Braided Bun
Since I am totally a bun girl, I'm always looking for new ways to dress it up a bit. I came across this braided bun tutorial and holy awesomeness!! At first sight it looks a bit complicated, but the steps are so simple!! I'm dying to try it out tomorrow morning, so I'll give a full report of how it turned out. Do you guys have any fun/simple ways to dress up your hair? If so, pleeeease share.
P.S. If it doesn't turn out it's most likely operator error:)

Woodland Hair Pins
Check out these adorable hairpins from Woodland Belle! I would wear these with a super cute side braid. And that bird and nest would look so cute peeking out from a bun. So perfect for Spring. How would you wear these cuties? I'd love to know.
Smitten Kitten: Three Little Ducks
I am so, so smitten with Australian clothing line Three Little Ducks. The summer collection is filled with classic, yet beautiful pieces that are totally amazing. I would wear and love every single piece in this collection. I can't wait to see what they come out with for fall/winter!
P.S. I am obsessed with with those Charlie Pants (bottom pics) and might die if I don't have them.
They also have an Etsy store and a lot of their Summer clothing is on sale right now!

A Great Escape: Would You Dare?
Winter is officially over and I know many of you are so ready to move on from the cold and snow and get to the sunny and green. So I may be answering my own question, but would you dare to stay in this Swedish hotel made entirely of ice? The artistry alone is something to behold and I think it would be awesome to see, but sleeping here....not so sure. What are your thoughts dears?
Even if you wouldn't stay here in a million years, you can still admire the artistry of this cool place here.
Photo Wallpaper
I've seen so many cool pictures of people turning personal photo's into a work of art and I LOVE the idea. I have a big wall in my house that I do not know what to do with, so I was thinking of doing something cool like that with some of our photos. Then I found the picture above of photo wallpaper, which this takes the original idea a step further. I have to admit, I'm smitten with this idea. What do you think dears? Would you wallpaper your house with a photo you love?

Dreamy Bedrooms
Sorry for my lack of posting today, it was just such a Monday!! It didn't help that B (my little one) decided to party like a rock star last night and kept us up past 2:30am. If you asked me a question right now it'd take me about 5 minutes before I could respond. So since I've been daydreaming about my bed all day, here are some dreamy bedrooms that I'd LOVE to snooze in. Zzzzzzzzzzzz. See ya tomorrow.

Pallet Decorating
Ever since I blogged about this Scandinavian home, I've been obsessed with the idea of decorating with pallets. Now it seems everywhere I turn I'm seeing pallets being used creatively as furniture and even art. I love it!! The question was where to put one?
I have been on the search for a headboard for...a while, but I just ran across this DIY pallet headboard and THAT'S IT!! I am so smitten! Now I have just to figure out how to get my hands on some of those pallets. Anyone know?

A Happy Place
Have you ever had one of those days when you find it impossible to get anything accomplished? Yes, today is one of those days for me, so I've given up trying and figure tomorrow will be better. Instead I'm dreaming about this perfect beach shack bedroom! That headboard is to die for and I LOVE the idea of stacking vintage suitcases as a bedside table. Genius!
Yep, I think it's time for a bedroom remodel. If I could sleep every night in a room like this, I'd be a happy girl.
I seem to be more of a soft and serene girl for bedrooms. What about you? Soft and serene or bold and bright?
The whole house it pretty awesome if you wanna check it out here

My Cup of Tea
My little escape from the stress and goings on of daily life comes in the form of a cup of tea. For just a brief moment I can escape and pretend that I'm sitting on a beautiful porch overlooking whatever beautiful place my mind conjures up.
I realized though, that after all these years, I don't have a teapot! I just found these teapots from London company The Teapottery . They are so stinkin cute that I think I must have one! How many fellow tea lovers are there out there?

Spring Fashion: Carolina Herrera
Happy first day of Spring!! Although it's been spring here for months, it's raining today. It was love at first sight when I first saw the bold floral prints of Carolina Herrera's Spring line, so they are the perfect anecdote for today's gloomy day. Oh how I wish I could play dress up today in these clothes. I'm bananas over that coral number!!

Happy Prints
Dears, how was your weekend? The stomach flu spread like wildfire in our house this weekend and 3 out of the 4 of us ended up getting it. I swear we are getting every little thing that comes around!! I was the last , so I'm still recovering.
I needed a little happy today and these beautiful watercolor's from artist Stephanie Ryan are perfect. I would love to have one of these pretty Spring prints hung in my house.

Bloggers Day of Silence
This week has been a bit of a odd week blogging wise for me. It's felt strange to blog about happy things when there is so much sadness going on in Japan. I have been so heartbroken by the devastating loss and damage those people have experienced. In the face of all that, there is still the terrifying question of what is to come.
Tomorrow I will not be doing my traditional Friday Posts. Instead, I will be joining many others in the Bloggers Day of Silence to honor the many lost and those dealing with loss during this tragic time. Please visit For Japan With Love to find out more about the fund raising efforts and what you can do to help. Every little bit helps, so take tomorrows silence as a day to send your thoughts and prayers to the Japanese people and hope that they can feel our love.
St. Patty's Day Treats

Darby O'Gill and the Little People
This was one of my absolute favorite movies as a kid (no I am not that old). If memory serves, the banshee was a little scary, but an awesome movie nonetheless. Yes kiddos that is Sean Connery! This was one of his first movies and he SINGS in it too!! I might have to find this to rent for a little St. Patty's Day treat.
Oh Ireland...
And the winner is....
First of all, let me say that I wish that I could give one of these to all of you. Your comments about where you'd take this puppy were too fun!
But only one winner today and it is Anna from In Honor of Design!!! Congratulations girlie!
