On the Telly: 80's Flashback
Taking you back to the 80's when bad hair and inexplicable clothes were all the rage. My sister and I LOVED Cyndi Lauper and I've had this song stuck in my head for days now. I haven't seen the video in probably like 20 years (gulp), so I grabbed my 7 year old to watch with me. She'll think it's cool! Right. The look of confusion on her face said otherwise.

I adored the 80s fashion! I loved Ferris Beuler's Day Off and Dirty Dancing. I remember I had this babysitter who wore ripped jeans, had huge crimped hair that was always in a side pony-tail, and had safety-pins through her ears. To me, she was the absolute coolest! Oh, along with the black leather bomber jacket of course.
